Maiz is an experimental display typeface inspired by the geometry, textures, and cultural significance of corn. Google Sans is the modern brand typeface for Google, designed as a size-optimized version of its predecessor, Product Sans. Originally a proprietary font used exclusively for Google’s identity and Material Design themes, the family has recently been expanded into several sub-families—including Google Sans Text (optimized for smaller sizes), Google Sans Flex (a highly capable variable version), and Google Sans Code (monospaced for technical contexts).
Gluten is a super round and high-personality display typeface designed by Tyler Finck. Described as slightly loud and 100% fun, it celebrates every curve and nook with an exceptionally bubbly aesthetic. Originally released in 2018, it was later expanded into a versatile variable font that maintains its quirky charm from its leanest to its heaviest weights.
Luperca is an all-caps display typeface that explores the evolution of Roman square capitals. Originally designed for Cercle magazine’s mythology issue, it blends Latin epigraphic shapes with contemporary calligraphic details. The design balances the sharp feel of chisel-engraved letters with the fluid rotation of a calligraphic pen, resulting in a unique, rhythmic texture ideal for compact titling.
Ballet is a whimsical reinterpretation of the classic Spencerian script style. It is characterized by its elegant, fluid motion and includes two distinct versions: “Ballet Aligned” and “Ballet Crooked.” The typeface features a vast character set of over 630 characters and 800 glyphs, blending traditional calligraphy with modern decorative flourishes.
Alpha Lyrae is a unique typeface designed for the Vega protocol. It combines trustful, reliable shapes inspired by Helvetica with critical, rebellious elements. The font features a “glitch” aesthetic using Contextual Alternates (CALT) that automatically swap every fourth character for a pixelated version. It also includes five distinct stylistic sets (SS01–SS05) ranging from unique pixel structures to displaced pixels for a sense of motion.
Feroniapi is a redesign (fork) by Julienne Richard of Peter Wiegel’s original Feronia font. It was created for the visual identity of the Palais des Fêtes in Strasbourg, inspired by Art Nouveau curves and popular dances. The design is simple and accessible, featuring post-binary ligatures (from QUNI), vowel variations, Art Nouveau-style frieze patterns, and a set of fruits and vegetables dingbats.
Prodigy Sans is a grotesque sans-serif typeface family based on Work Sans, which was originally commissioned by DesignStudio for Prodigy Education Inc. Updates include a new Bold master with lower contrast and rounder shapes, scaled-up Cap height to match ascender height, different stroke terminals, a new design for ‘a’ and ‘g’, and cleaner drawing for Regular and Thin styles.
Brassia is a typeface designed for teaching vector tracing, prototyped during a Velvetyne workshop. Its design is inspired by the Solarpunk science fiction genre, featuring an ancient and futuristic look with a translation contrast typical of pen writing. Some letters are based on ancient and vernacular signs found in Brussels.
Interlope is a script typeface inspired by amateur calligraphic lettering featured on the cover of the first issue of Interlopes, a magazine published by the Homosexual Liberation Group of Lyon (1977–1979). The digital font preserves the original DIY spirit and includes a large range of ligatures and ornamental alternate glyphs.
Degheest is not a single font but a collection of typefaces revived from the archives of designer Ange Degheest (1928–2009). The revival project intended to give Ange Degheest full recognition for her work, which included various typefaces and lettering.
Poller One is a high-contrast, semi-extended style Sans Serif typeface. It is described as being both readable and full of personality. Due to its higher contrast, it is best suited for medium to larger display settings. It was inspired by hand lettering found on early 20th-century German posters.
Delius is a high-quality comic book lettering typeface. It is part of a super-family that includes Delius Unicase and Delius Swash Caps. Its stroke is defined by a round marker, thickening at both ends, which imitates the natural movements of handwriting.
Courgette is a medium-contrast, brushy, italic-script typeface. It features an easygoing, playful, and charming vibe, reminiscent of American commercial brush lettering from the 1950s. Designed for the web, it has low stroke contrast, making it legible even at smaller sizes, though it excels in headlines.
Manosque is a typeface inspired by lettering found at the Manosque train station in the south of France, as well as other letterforms used in public signs and transportation in France during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The design process used a flat brush technique to harmonize the diverse source shapes.
Barriecito is a new version of the Barrio typeface that includes lowercase letters. Based on hand-lettering forms, it recovers the style of small street shops. It features a rhythmic contrast and an amateur appearance, making it ideal for warm, lively, and fun communication on screens, billboards, magazines, and promotional material.
Lily Script One is a sturdy display script typeface with a playful, bold texture. It features soft yet clear shapes, often conveying romantic connotations, but maintains a bold personality that makes it well-suited for charming headlines and display texts.
Euripides is a reverse stress body typeface designed for Anne Carson’s Grief Lessons, a translation of Four Plays by Euripides. Its design challenged the cliché of body text by shifting the weight to consider the sentiment of the translated text.
Garamon(d/t) is described as a “hardcore revival of a revival.” It is based on the Garamond typeface published in 1926 by the French Deberny et Peignot type foundry, which was itself based on the work of 16th-century designer Claude Garamont. It is a classic serif typeface.
Rosario is a singular typeface characterized by classic proportions and subtle, yet dynamic weak endings. Named after a crowded city, it is versatile and suitable for diverse publishing contexts, including popular magazines, poetry books, illustrated editions, and academic journals.
