Dear Amigos,

As many of you know, we are a blog ran and founded by venezuelan designers, and right now, our community is navigating a severe emergency following the recent devastating earthquakes. The scale of this devastation is immense, and the reality of disasters like this is that while the initial shock fills our feeds, the road to recovery takes months, long after the news cycle moves on. We cannot look away when the cameras leave.

Below, we have curated a list of verified, safe organizations where your international donations can directly fuel emergency relief, medical aid, and food distribution. Please consider contributing what you can today.

Ayudandito

A grassroots initiative founded by Diego Vega aimed at serving as a direct bridge between international donors and the local communities that need urgent support.

  • How they’re helping: This initiative works closely with survivors to deliver essential food, clean drinking water, and basic rescue tools directly into the hands of affected neighborhoods, ensuring that immediate, life-sustaining aid reaches the ground without delay.

World Central Kitchen (WCK)

A humanitarian non-profit organization that mobilizes to the frontlines to provide fresh, nutritious meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.

Partnering with 19 local restaurants and community kitchens, they are serving thousands of fresh, hot meals to displaced families, rescue teams, hospitals, and shelters. They have also deployed food trucks and established an operational hub near Naiguatá to ensure meals reach those in need quickly.
